We have 7 en-suite bedrooms
All of our rooms are on the first floor and none of our rooms have been designed for access needs.
The Troutbeck Inn is located in the quiet hamlet of Troutbeck, visible from the A66 on the A5091.
We are 9 miles from Keswick & 9 miles from Penrith, both eaily accessible by car or by bus.
The nearest bus stop is 200 yards away.

The following buses stop outside the Troutbeck Inn: x4, x5 and x50.
The bus stops 200 yards from the Inn and it is an easy walk slightly down hill. The nearest train station is located in Penrith, 9 miles away.
Taxis are available from the station.
Upon arrival you will enter our gravelled car park. Please ensure you are not obstructing a cellar or delivery gate.
We have three steps with a handrail to the main entrance, or around the back there are no steps.
If it is dark, our car park is lit from The Inn by low flood lights.
If arriving after closing time please call and arrangements can be made for special access and lighting to be left on.
Our main entrance has a tiled floor and a welcome mat.
When entering the Inn, you have to slide the fitted handle to the right.
If entering after the Inn has closed, please use the purple key on your set of room keys supplied by inserting into the Yale lock & slide the handle simultaneously too!
Reception is directly in front of you. Please ring the bell should no one be at the desk.
From reception you have the Bar Area – our dog friendly part of the Inn to the left. This is a cosy area with seating and a bar. All breakfasts are served in the bar.
To the right are our two restaurant rooms. Your table for breakfast will be set in the bar side.
Downstairs toilets are located through the middle restaurant towards the back door & down one step.
Please mind your head as our roof is low at this point.
All of our bedrooms are en-suite and have a small step into the shower. Room 6 has and en-suite bathroom accessed by going down 3 steps
Room 1,2,& 3 are up the stairs and turn left
Room 4,5,6& 7 are up the stairs and turn right
